2024 WINTER CLUB COMPETITION INFORMATION (U12s – U18s)

Season Dates:

• Round 1: Week Beginning April 29
• Semi Finals: Week beginning September 16
• Grand Finals: Week beginning September 23

No games or training during July School holidays, and no matches on Tuesday May 28, Wednesday May 29, Friday June 7 and Monday June 10.

Competition Fees:

The Winter Competition fees are $280.00 + your Annual Membership Fee (Ages 8-11: $78.32, Ages 12-17: $107.19)

Some other key information:

• Please click on the links on our website to access team lists. Coaches and/or managers will set up a team chat for each team, please reach out if you have not heard from them yet and we can follow up for you. 
• Teams have been allocated a 1-hour training session, please click on the link to the Training Schedule to find your allocation. This will also be communicated through your coach or manager.
• Games will be played across three venues: Newcastle Basketball Stadium, Macquarie College and Hunter Sports High. The draw will rotate teams through these venues.
• A singlet will be loaned to each player at the start of the season and must be returned at the end of the season. These singlets are owned by Newcastle Basketball and may incur a $50 fee if lost or not returned. Playing shorts are available for purchase as a compulsory uniform item, purchase them here: https://newcastlebasketball.sportsclique.com.au  Further optional merchandise coming soon.

TERM TWO U8s and U10s Competitions

• REGISTER NOW. Please include any friend requests under special requests. We will be in touch before your first game with team allocation and season information.

• Term 2 Competition Information:
  U8s START: Saturday, May 4^th . LAST ROUND: Saturday, July 6^th – 9 rounds
  U10s START: Thursday, May 9^th . LAST ROUND: Thursday, July 4^th – 9 rounds
  Program Fees: $125 per player, per term + Annual Rego fee’s.
  Annual Rego: Learn to Play (7 yrs & under) $9.84. Miniball (8-11 yrs) $43.32.

  Newcastle Basketball Annual Membership: $35 (all ages)
  Term 2 Skills Camp: Sunday, 19^th of May & Sunday, 23^rd of June (7:30am – 9:00 am)
  Note: U8s & U10s Skills Camps included in term fees.
